This anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant super rich form of
licorice, assist the skin in addressing the symptoms of Rosacea. Daily usage of this solution can improve the skin considerably and can also be used with treatments in the salons.
L-Bisabolol – anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant, antidermatitic and antiseptic properties. Germany’s Commission “E” recommends topical Chamomile preparations for diseases of the skin and mouth. Chamomile has also been used topically to reduce inflammation of the skin, mouth and throat; bisabolol is well absorbed and also facilitates the absorption of other ingredients. When applied to skin that has been treated with laser, bisabolol increased skin hydration, surface lipids, skin elasticity and decreased EWL (trans-epidermal water loss, i.e. increased the integrity of the skin barrier). The anti-inflammatory effect of bisabolol is comparable to corticosteroid compounds, with the advantage that it lacks the side effects that should make the use of corticosteroids like hydrocortisone or dexamethasone far down on the list of choices.
Licorice – is water soluble and a natural anti-inflammatory, used in sensitive skin components. Testing has shown that it also has anti-hyaluronidase activity (fights the breakdown of Hyaluronic acid), UV erythema reduction and inhibits histamine release. G. glabra Glabridin has antioxidant properties, UV absorbing action, in addition to comparatively higher tyrosinase-inhibition activity than either Kojic Acid or Ascorbic Acid, and is a very safe ingredient.
PBN (Spin Trap) – is the intelligent antioxidant and the most powerful one anywhere. Instead of destroying the rogue oxygen free radicals, it traps them, transforming them into useful oxygen and then escorts them back into the respiratory cycle where it is utilized in tissue respiration.
